Does my saddle have sufficient clearance?

The saddle should maintain clearance over your horse's withers and spine through the full length of the saddle. This space helps ensure the saddle can function correctly without placing pressure on sensitive areas.
How to check
Place your hand within the saddle channel at both the front and rear of the saddle.
The channel should remain clear of your horse's withers and spine throughout the length of the saddle.
